I’ve been fascinated with Rebrickable since my sister told me about it – building something new but using only the pieces of the same set? What a challenge! My kids love Rapunzel lego, but they wanted the tower to be bigger, or if not bigger, then have a proper bedroom for Rapunzel. And I’ve always wanted to replicate the fireplace as it looks in the movie, with the curtains either side and the painting above the mantlepiece.
So I started playing around with it and ended up with the idea of a bakery on the ground floor and a beautiful bedroom on the top floor. The hardest bit was the roof – it’s a bit shaky.
